TYKUN inherits its military DNA from MED DEFENSE, a cornerstone of Gruppo MED, which has been designing and building vessels for public defense for over thirty years.
With in-house research, development, and production, MED DEFENSE stands as a key Italian player in its sector, distinguished by its one-off production approach. This methodology, common to all divisions of the Group, enables the creation of tailor-made vessels designed to meet specific operational requirements and adapt to different areas of use.
In the luxury chase boat segment, this expertise takes shape in TYKUN, a division that brings together the design of Tommaso Spadolini, the strategic and communication vision of Benedetta Iovane, and the industrial direction of Marco Galimberti.
Within the Group, TYKUN operates alongside H1, the division dedicated to hydrogen propulsion, which applies the same research and development expertise to foster the energy transition in the yachting industry. A special day dedicated to Hone and hydrogen propulsion will take place on 24 September at the Monaco Yacht Show.
The first model, TYKUN X, will make its world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, marking the official debut of the brand on the international stage.
