APDP: Personal Data Protection Authority, the independent Monegasque administrative authority responsible for personal data protection.
Data subject: Natural person whose data is being processed, namely, within the scope of this policy, customers, visitors to the show, users of the website, recipients of emails, prospects and, more broadly, any person whose personal data is processed by the Monaco Yacht Show.
Recipient: Natural or legal person, public authority, service or other body that receives communication of personal data.
Show: Monaco Yacht Show event organised in the Principality of Monaco
3) Principles applicable to the protection of your personal data
Principle of lawfulness, fairness and transparency: Monaco Yacht Show undertakes to obtain your consent whenever it is required and to inform you about the processing of your personal data. Monaco Yacht Show demonstrates transparency by informing data subjects, when their personal data is collected, about how it will be used and when it may be shared with third parties.

• Addresses and contact details: Contact details (professional and/or personal email address, professional and/or personal telephone number), place of residence.
• Professional data: Professional position held, nature of the position held and status (exhibitor, service provider, etc.).
• Copy of official document: identity document (if necessary in the context of concierge services for private clients)
• Financial details: payment details for admission/accreditation.

5) Purpose of personal data processing
a) Purposes of processing
The processing of your personal data by Monaco Yacht Show is carried out for explicit and specific purposes:
• To respond effectively to any person involved in the Show (exhibitors, captains, stand operators, partners, technical service providers, etc.)
• Respond to any requests for information about the Show and the services offered by Monaco Yacht Show;
• To enable the accreditation of visitors and other persons concerned who are required to attend the Show;
• Collect information necessary for the smooth running of the Show;
• To gather the needs of Users (exhibitors, captains, stand builders) in order to provide the most appropriate services;
• Managing commercial relations with exhibitors and other contractors;
• Managing the website and cookies;
• Conducting statistical studies.
It is specified that this policy applies to the aforementioned processing operations and to any others that may arise. In this case, the information contained in this policy will be communicated to the persons concerned at the appropriate time.
b) The legal basis for processing
Monaco Yacht Show carries out the processing operations concerned on the basis of:
- The performance of contractual measures relating to exhibitors, private customers, visitors and any other entity that has ordered a service from Monaco Yacht Show.
- From its legitimate interest in managing the website, compiling statistics and communicating, marketing or promoting the show. Monaco Yacht Show organises an international show that takes place every year and must continuously improve its services and communicate regularly about its activities. In addition, Monaco Yacht Show is required to respond to any requests that may require the collection of personal data through electronic communications and to inform those interested in the Show of its latest news.

All personal data collected is kept for a limited period of time depending on the purpose of the processing and the envisaged period provided for by the legislation in force. Finally, when determining envisaged periods, Monaco Yacht Show takes into account the need to keep a record of the various editions in order to ensure monitoring and continue the Show's innovation over several years.
7) Security and confidentiality
As data controller, Monaco Yacht Show determines and implements the necessary measures to protect personal data processing systems in order to prevent, as far as possible, any malicious intrusion and prevent any loss, alteration or disclosure of data to unauthorised persons.
Monaco Yacht Show therefore implements technical and organisational measures to guarantee the security and confidentiality of personal data in accordance with good IT security practices. To this end, Monaco Yacht Show is supported by specialised subcontractors.
Measures implemented to guarantee security and confidentiality:
• Awareness-raising: Monaco Yacht Show raises awareness of personal data processing and undertakes to comply with the provisions of the GDPR and Law No. 1.565, on behalf of all its employees.
• Regular password renewal: Monaco Yacht Show provides each user with secure authentication using a unique username and complex passwords that are renewed regularly.
• Securing workstations, the internal network and servers: Workstations are secured through the installation of antivirus software, a firewall and the collection of user consent before any intervention on their workstation. Similarly, the internal network and servers are secured through precise flow management with the installation of a firewall and a VLAN passing through the switch and firewall.
• Backup and business continuity: A backup and recovery system ensure the secure recovery and continuity of our activities.
• Strictly regulated access: Authorised personnel have restricted access to strictly necessary information, as charters are in place to govern the main prerogatives and obligations of IT administrators in the performance of their duties.
8) Cookies
You are informed that when you visit our website, cookies are installed on your browser to enable you to browse the site optimally, in accordance with the GDPR and Monegasque Law No. 1.565 of 3 December 2024.
Cookies are data stored on the user's terminal equipment. It is specified that the Monaco Yacht Show website allows access to social networks or third-party websites. If you decide to access them, your personal data will be processed by these third-party websites and you can refer directly to their privacy policies to receive the necessary information on the processing of your data.
10) Recipients and transfer of data
Monaco Yacht Show may transmit your personal data to several types of recipients who need to receive it:
- Internal departments within Monaco Yacht Show in order to process your requests and follow up on commercial relations
