Press release – September 17, 2025
The 2025 Monaco Yacht Summit offers Show visitors the opportunity to engage with the leading voices shaping the future of the yachting industry.
The Monaco Yacht Summit acts as a dedicated forum for dialogue across the yachting ecosystem, bringing together experts, engineers, designers, yacht owners, buyers, and their representatives. Through a series of panel discussions and themed conferences, the event offers incisive insights into market trends and provides a clear view of the sector’s evolving landscape.
This year’s programme has been carefully structured to help visitors plan their attendance and derive maximum value from each session. Panels will address the key challenges and opportunities facing the industry, including technological innovation, environmental transition, and strategic considerations for yacht acquisition.
The Opening Conference will mark the official launch of the 34th Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) on 24 September 2025 (10:30), with environmental sustainability at the forefront. The session will highlight tangible progress and industry commitments driving a more responsible future for yachting. Renowned experts will share insights and solutions on the sector’s key challenges, including:
• MYS sustainability initiatives: introduction to the Blue Wake™ programme, showcasing the show’s commitment to environmentally responsible innovation.
• Energy storage onboard: developments in battery and hybrid energy storage systems, including methanol and hydrogen solutions.
• AI and digital tools: how digitalisation and AI can enhance efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, and support sustainability targets without compromising performance.
• Rethinking charter: a roundtable discussion on making charters eco-friendly through waste reduction, sustainable sourcing, client education, and carbon offsetting.
The conference sets the tone for an industry increasingly aligned with environmental responsibility, innovation, and practical solutions for sustainable yachting.
Eight panel discussions will be co-organised with the leading yachting media outlet Superyacht Times, covering engineering, design, and industry innovation, alongside a dedicated session on investment strategy in yacht acquisition and operations, co-organised with Spear’s magazine.
These discussions provide professionals and visitors with a unique opportunity to gain actionable insights into the trends and decisions shaping the future of yachting.
24 September – The roundtables (topics):
• Is electrification the next logical step?
• A closer look at underwater noise pollution
Day 1 will conclude with an exclusive screening of the documentary ‘Ocean with David Attenborough’, followed by an open Q&A with director Toby Nowlan.

• Becoming an owner (the privileges – and the pitfalls – of making the leap to ownership – by Spear’s magazine)
• How to develop a sustainable marina project?
• Refit as a path to sustainability – maximising the potential of existing yachts

As a side programme of the Monaco Yacht Summit, a series of conferences will spotlight the key forces shaping the future of yachting: innovation, sustainability, and design.
Led by exhibitors from the Blue Wake™ programme, alongside renowned designers and industry experts, these sessions will focus on two main areas.
First, the presentation of concrete solutions and emerging technologies that are transforming the sector, addressing sustainability challenges and environmental impact. Second, an in-depth exploration of aesthetic, functional, and technological trends redefining yacht design—striking a balance between performance, onboard experience, and environmental responsibility.
