Project Y, Falcon Tenders' newly unveiled limousine tender built exclusively for the iconic 141m motor yacht Yas . Continuity of design between mothership and tender is the mark of a truly cohesive vision and nowhere is this better exemplified than in this bespoke vessel, crafted with architectural precision and artistic intention.

Automotive inspiration is apparent in Project Y’s sculpted hull, streamlined contours, and assertive stance. The silhouette is bold yet elegant, exuding a sense of motion even while at rest. Most striking are the large, seamless glass windows that wrap around the cabin, directly mirroring Yas’s own celebrated use of glazing. Inside, the interior replicates the mothership's signature palette and material language, from custom wall panels that employ the same rich veneers, to bespoke carpet woven to echo the design motifs aboard Yas. Engineered for both comfort and efficiency, Project Y ensures swift and stable transfer between the mothership and shore, regardless of sea conditions.

At Falcon Tenders, our designs range from sleek, high-speed open tenders to luxurious limousines, each one crafted with passion and precision. My background in championship powerboat racing has had a profound influence on the way I approach design and boatbuilding. Racing at that level teaches you lessons that are directly transferable to creating exceptional boats, such as hull efficiency, weight distribution and precise engineering. Whether I’m designing a high-performance vessel or a leisure craft, I bring the same focus on optimising performance.

Staying ahead often means embracing new technologies, materials and ideas. Features such as gyroscopic stabilisation and noise-dampening insulation speak to the high-performance expectations of yachting’s discerning clients. More tenders are integrating hydrofoil technology for improved efficiency, speed and comfort, while self-docking and AI-assisted navigation is used to enhance safety and ease of operation. Likewise, sustainability in yacht and tender construction is no longer a niche concept, but a necessity. As environmental regulations tighten and yacht owners demand eco-friendly solutions—such as electric or hybrid propulsion systems—boatbuilders must innovate to meet these expectations. At Falcon Tenders, we see sustainability as an opportunity to lead rather than follow, which is why all our tenders, including Miss Wonderly, our first hull launched in 2022, are built with the option of hybrid propulsion.
