Designed by Frank Neubelt of the German Yacht Couture Studio, the Conrad COONE 140 sets a new standard in sustainable superyacht design. It features a Hybrid system and Hundested Saildrive Propulsion with regeneration, able to recharge batteries under sail. The yacht’s battery capacity enables zero-emission operation in restricted zones and overnight generator-free use. A redundant engine–generator setup ensures global self-sufficiency for long-distance, off-grid cruising.
An optimized rig and sail area reduce engine hours and fuel use, while the aluminum–carbon composite hull improves performance and uses recyclable materials. Energy efficiency is central, with battery storage for hotel loads, LED lighting, efficient HVAC, and intelligent energy management. Wastewater treatment meets MARPOL standards, and eco-friendly finishes with responsibly sourced woods reduce environmental impact. A 4–6 m lifting keel provides shallow-water access. With transatlantic range, the COONE 140 proves luxury and sustainability can coexist.
