Amico & Co is a full service refit shipyard operating in the service and refit of superyachts up to unlimited size. Founded in 1991, with in-house departments and capabilities, it boasts a 90% international clientele with around 130 projects executed on average each year, ranking among the leading companies in the sector worldwide. The shipyard operates in the Port of Genoa at the heart of the nautical district and is able to accommodate multiple large yachts, with on-hard slots up to 95m LOA and covered slots for yachts up to 100m in length. Amico & Co also operates its own 26-berth crew-friendly marina facility, Waterfront Marina.
Amico & Co is a leading Italian shipyard specialised in the refit and maintenance of superyachts up to 140 metres LOA. Based in Genoa, the company has integrated sustainability into its business strategy for over two decades and has held ISO 14001 certification since 2002. Amico & Co takes a measurable, data-driven approach to sustainability, with results at the end of 2025 further improving on 2024 performance: the 1 MW photovoltaic system produced 986,324 kWh in 2025, representing a 10% increase compared to the previous year, and avoiding 427 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. All docks are equipped with shore power connections, while energy-efficient sheds contribute to reducing emissions and VOCs. Waste is managed through an on-site eco-island processing over 25 categories, with recovery rates up to 99%. All wastewater is treated and never discharged into the sea. The shipyard also promotes onboard sustainability via the Water Revolution Foundation Environmental Crew Guidelines. These efforts are supported by third-party verified data and ESG reporting aligned with GRI Standards, a transparent commitment to reducing environmental impact across the yachting sector.
