Germán “Mani” Frers gained his passion for yacht design from a family whose tradition runs back to 1928. In this 30 years’ experience starting from sailing yachts, including America’s Cup, performance cruisers and superyachts, now Frers has expanded into the motor yacht world with a fresh approach. Current projects range from 7m to 85m both under sail and power, including electric and hybrid propulsion systems. In 2023, Mani Frers-designed 56M Alea was awarded the prestigious title of Sailing Yacht of the Year.
