STP Shipyard Palma is Europe's leading refit & repair facility. Situated in the stunning setting of Palma de Mallorca, with 162.500m2 of technical area, it has the best professional team to serve vessels up to 120m in length and 1.000 tonnes weight.
Its open shipyard management model -unique in the sector- allows users to choose which companies they want to work with to keep a tighter control on the entire refit & repair process, with the convenience of having all services and trades on-site which naturally translates into budget control and time savings.
Renewable energy generation is a key pillar of STP Shipyard Palma's sustainability strategy. Since 2021, the shipyard has progressively expanded its on-site renewable energy capacity through a series of solar installations across its facilities, enabling a growing share of the electricity demand from yachts, businesses and the yard itself to be met with clean energy. The initiative has been complemented by battery energy storage systems to maximise the use of renewable power and EV charging stations supplied by solar energy. The latest milestone is a self-sufficient solar installation on the roof of the new changing facilities and public toilets, further increasing on-site generation capacity. Together, these projects have already prevented the emission of 587 tonnes of CO₂ while improving energy efficiency, reducing environmental impact and supporting peak electricity demand. This long-term strategy strengthens STP Shipyard Palma's commitment to a more sustainable, resilient and energy-efficient operating model for the yachting industry.
