Established in the port city of Gdansk in 2002 by French businessman Francis Lapp, Sunreef Yachts is a pioneering shipyard specializing in designing and constructing fully-customized luxury catamarans and multi-hull superyachts.

Innovation, sustainability, and excellent craft are the very core of the Sunreef Yachts brand. The shipyard’s family of customers includes superstar athlete Rafael Nadal as well as Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso and Nico Rosberg among a vast clientele across the globe.

With shipyards in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, and Gdansk, Poland, the shipyard offers the world’s most exclusive, energy-efficient, and technologically advanced multihulls.

Sunreef Solar Skin

Sunreef Yachts’ in-house engineered solar power system features high-performance solar panels seamlessly integrated into the yacht’s hulls, superstructure, bimini roof and mast. These ultra-thin and light panels deliver peak efficiency and can be customized for any shape or area. The system significantly boosts solar energy capacity, enabling an energy-efficient yachting experience. Durable, shock- and abrasion-resistant, the panels are easy to maintain and repair. Sunreef’s Eco technology reduces fossil fuel use and maximizes energy efficiency, combining green propulsion, smart water and energy management, and eco-friendly materials for a holistic approach to sustainable yachting—all without compromising design or performance.

Powered by Light and Wind

The Sunreef 100 Eco redefines sustainable luxury yachting by placing advanced solar technology at the core of its design. Sunreef Yachts' in-house developed solar system integrates ultra-light, high-efficiency solar panels—just 1.2 mm thick—into the hull sides, superstructure, bimini, and other exterior surfaces, maximizing energy generation without compromising aesthetics. The extensive solar array continuously powers the yacht's hotel load, including lighting, air conditioning, galley equipment, entertainment systems, and guest amenities, enabling quiet, emission-free operation while significantly reducing reliance on generators.Supporting this concept is a lightweight composite structure incorporating PET foam, carbon fiber, polyester resin, and vinyl ester resin. The PET use reduces weight, improves efficiency, and introduces recycled material into the yacht's construction.Together, integrated solar technology, sailing and advanced lightweight composites set a new benchmark for sustainable luxury at sea.
