Benetti’s B.Yond 37M is the world’s greenest boat in its class, combining SCR catalytic filters with the innovative E-Mode Hybrid system by Siemens Energy. The innovative E-Mode Hybrid system developed with Siemens Energy makes it possible to optimise on-board energy consumption according to specific usage profiles, which translates into unprecedented CO2 and NOx emissions reductions for a yacht in this category. E-Mode is a Plug-in System for easy integration in standard propulsive architecture based on Siship EcoProp technology expressly designed to provide an innovative system that, in case of occurrence, permit to operate the boat in standard diesel mode. E-Mode is a consistent contribution that Benetti and Siemens want to give to the implementation of Hybrid propulsion Technology in marine applications.
In addition, Benetti Yachts, part of the Azimut|Benetti Group, adopted HVO for sea trials and commissioning activities of its fleet. The Group used 488.206 kg of HVOlution supplied by Enilive, from September ’24 to June ’25. The reduction % of weighted average of CO2eq emissions (well to wake) is above 75% compared to standard diesel (RED II).
