Press release – October 7, 2025
From 24 to 27 September 2025, the Monaco Yacht Show once again celebrated excellence, innovation and elegance across the world of yachting. Among the highlights of this edition, the Tribute to Yachting photographic exhibition by Guillaume Plisson offered visitors a uniquely artistic and sensory perspective on the superyacht universe.
Staged along the quays of Port Hercule, the exhibition brought together
143 photographs, enriching the visitor experience and inviting each guest to
slow down, take a step back, and reconnect with the true essence of yachting —
where sea, light and craftsmanship meet.
Through his lens, Plisson reveals what often goes unseen: the precision
of artisanal expertise, lives shaped by the rhythm of the sea, and the quiet
intention that guides every curve and design choice.
The exhibition also pays tribute to the men and women who bring this
world to life. Their generosity and trust have enabled Plisson to create an
original visual narrative, nourished by years of shared experiences at sea.
“This exhibition was born from a shared desire
with the Monaco Yacht Show — to offer an artistic and emotional perspective on
the world of yachting. Yet nothing would have been possible without the
unwavering support of the entire industry: owners, designers, shipyards, crews…
all have allowed me, year after year, to build a visual memory of contemporary
yachting and to express heartfelt gratitude to all those who embody this
world,” explains
Guillaume Plisson.
Gaëlle Tallarida, Managing Director of the Monaco Yacht Show, highlights
the importance of this approach: “Tribute to Yachting reflects our ambition
to open the Monaco Yacht Show to new forms of expression. In recent years, we
have showcased the evolution of yachting — its sustainable innovations, its
design, and its lifestyle — but it was equally essential to offer a more personal
interpretation of this universe. Through our collaboration with Guillaume
Plisson, we’ve created an artistic experience that reconnects visitors with the
primary emotion that yachting evokes: wonder.”
Tribute to Yachting invited visitors on an artistic and poetic
journey, illuminating the beauty, sensitivity and human dimension at the heart
of yachting.
The photographs from the exhibition are available for purchase, allowing collectors and enthusiasts to extend this artistic experience beyond the show itself.
