The TIDALWAVE HMX® compact sewage treatment systems are U.S. Coast Guard certified Type II Marine Sanitation Devices that are also BV Approved for worldwide compliance with MEPC.227(64) including section 4.2 which details nutrient reduction for passenger vessels that operate in special protected areas. Standard models are available to treat up to 20,000 US Gallons per day (75.7 cubic meters per day). The systems can provide monitoring of multiple tanks and automation of the treatment process and integration with other onboard digital platforms. The process is designed to start and stop with the push of a button. The TIDALWAVE HMX systems use a three-stage process to deliver advanced treatment of black and gray water onboard. The treatment technique is well suited for cold water environments, making the system ideal for polar operation. This is all done without the need for an additional sludge storage tank onboard.
