For four generations, Claudio and Rita Cadorin — brother and sister — together with the next generation, nephew Giacomo and niece Chiara Cadorin, have carried on the craftsmanship of the family business based in Possagno (Veneto).
Traditionally, parquet is selected according to a high degree of aesthetic uniformity. This approach often leads to the exclusion of a significant portion of the available raw material. In the production of planks, the pursuit of a “Prime Grade” selection can result in the exclusion of 40–50% of the material obtained from the log, while in SUPERIOR selections this percentage can reach 70%, despite being fully suitable in performance.NATUR redefines the concept of high sustainability on board through. The project radically eliminates the practice of wood deselection in order to enhance every portion of the log. The celebration of authenticity creates an approach that eliminates raw material waste: knots and natural colour variations tell the story of the tree, from the first shoot to the branch that creates a knot, through to the minerals absorbed from the soil.Furthermore, the research has extended to the true colours of wood and the forest, enhancing the aesthetic expression of parquet through its authentic material value.
