The festive atmosphere of the Monaco Yacht Show
The Monaco Yacht Show provides exhibitors with an opportunity to invite their clients to social evenings, dinner parties and drinks, either on the yachts, at their stands, or at prestigious venues in the Principality. Admittance by invitation only.
The Captains' Hideout will once again play host to professional captains and crew during the Monaco Yacht Show. The Hideout is the perfect place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the show, providing complimentary refreshments and internet access throughout the day. The Captains' Hideout will launch with a Happy Hour on Monday 20 September 2010 at 7pm.
Please note that the Captains’ Hideout is open to professional superyacht captains and crew living on board the yachts participating in the show only.

Following its success in 2009, the Monaco Yacht Show is hosting a Captain’s Party, in the prestigious Fairmont Hotel, for yacht captains and yachting industry representatives taking part in the show. This event organized jointly with Informa Yacht Group and backed by The Yacht Report and Ascoma Maritime will be a unique opportunity for guests to socialize in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere while admiring a fabulous view over Monaco bay.

Every year, the Prix du Design awards a yacht at the Monaco Yacht Show of which the design is the most innovative, the greatest and the most distinguished.
Prix du Design Nymphenburg / Monaco Yacht Show 2010 was awarded on and to the motor yacht Slipstream (60 meters launched in 2009) from the CMN Yachts Shipyard for its contemporary but elegant design, realized by Andrew Winch Designs.

In association with the Monaco Yacht Show, the RINA society will deliver the Green Plus Yacht Award 2010 to the yachts of which the construction assures compliance with the strictest environmental regulations.
The 2009 Green Plus Yacht Award singled out the motor yacht Ocean Emerald, built by the Italian Rodriquez shipyard and commercialized solely by YachtPlus, as the greenest yacht at the 19th MYS.
