Press accreditation

The press badge is issued by the Monaco Yacht Show press service to media representatives only. It is granted to media professionals who come cover the exhibition, the exhibitors, its sponsors and partners. This cover is strictly reserved for journalistic purposes or more widely, for reporting or editorial coverage.

A media can request one or several press badges. The MYS press service reserves the right to allocate or refuse the request.
To obtain a press badge, an official document must be provided.

It is nominative and provides access to the Show.
• Wednesday 27 September: 10:00am to 7:00pm (no access is possible before 10:00am)
• Thursday 28, Friday 29 and Saturday 30 September: 8:00am to 7:00pm.

Apply for a press badge
A press badge may be granted to the following media professionals upon presentation of an official document:
> Journalist (chief editor, independent journalist, press, web, radio or TV reporter),
> Photographer (for a press agency or a media identified during the badge request),
> Technicians (TV crews, etc.),
> Blogger: only one representative per blog is authorised.

Sales and marketing media representatives (advertising manager, sales agent, marketing or communication manager etc.) cannot benefit from a press badge and must request a professional visitor badge.

If you are a multi-media representative or if you have more than one role, Thanks to fill in the form mentioning the main media for which you ask for a badge press and to specify your main function (no double accreditation is granted).

Order a press badge

We now comply with new security recommendations which are requested for any major event taking place in the Principality.

Press badge will only be delivered if the form below is duly completed and matches with the requested conditions in this page.

Complete the press accreditation request form and provide the required supporting documents.

Upload an official letter on the media’s letter head, signed by the editor-in-chief or the director instructing you to cover the MYS.

The letter must:
• Present the agency: list of the media publishing your material, main geographic zone and broadcasting supports (radio, cable, satellite, internet, etc.),
• Specify the nature of the coverage you will dedicate to the MYS (name, periodicity, schedule, audience, number of rebroadcasts, live set, etc.),
• If it’s a team, list the complete name and function for each person in the media team (technical team included).

The form must be completed as many times as the number of people in your team.

Important notice: Audiovisual press agencies must be mandated by a broadcaster (television channel).

If you are a media exclusively digital, upload your digital media kit and specify:
• The audience,
• The visitor statistics (at least number of unique visitors per month and the average number of page views per month),
• A description of the digital channel thematic and the main axes of communication.

You were granted a press badge to cover the 2016 Show:

Send us the media coverage that you produced following the 2016 Show (including the image credit). The MYS commits itself not to use these images.

Upload a valid press card or, an official letter on the media’s letter head, signed by the editor-in-chief or the director instructing you to cover the MYS (specify the periodicity, circulation and coverage foreseen on the MYS).

If you are a media exclusively digital, upload your digital media kit and specify:
• The audience,
• The visitor statistics (at least number of unique visitors per month and the average number of page views per month),
• A description of the digital channel thematic and the main axes of communication.

You were granted a press badge to cover the 2016 Show:

Send us the media coverage that you produced following the 2016 Show (it must explicitly mention your name as the author of the report).
